Wilderness Adventures

This year, 2026, we are running up to three journeys to Sinai, all of which will involve the building of a small dam to increase access to water. They involve trekking in the high mountains, sleeping outside in Bedouin gardens, working on building a dam, climbing Mount Sinai, and exploring the desert. These journeys are for the adventurous and for people with a good degree of fitness.

There is also the possibility of introducing a new type of journey, exploring more of the culture of the Bedouin people. These would be lower level journeys, more accessible and centred around the town of St Katherine’s, with the themes of Culture, Textiles and Food. There will be visits to Bedouin gardens, to the monastery of St Katherine, and to local restaurants. There is also the possibly of staying at a retreat centre for a few days.

The journeys will take place in Spring and Autumn and we are taking bookings now; but if you want to come please contact us soon. See Forthcoming Journeys
